Love God, and love people in everything we do.

Love is the foundation — it shapes every interaction with clients, with each other, and with our community.

What This Looks Like

A client calls during a difficult season — they've just lost a spouse and feel overwhelmed. Rather than jumping into account logistics, our team takes time to listen, offers to pray with them, and reassures them we'll walk alongside them at whatever pace they need.

Matthew 22:37-40

Excellence

Do everything with excellence, not just hit the bare minimum.

Our standard isn't set by what the client would notice — it's set by the Lord we serve.

What This Looks Like

When preparing an annual review, our team doesn't just pull the standard report. They review your goals, personalize the commentary, and proactively flag opportunities or concerns — because excellence means going beyond what's expected.

Integrity

Doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

In a fiduciary relationship built on trust, integrity isn't optional — it's the price of admission.

What This Looks Like

A team member discovers a small billing discrepancy that would have gone unnoticed. They immediately flag it, correct it, and notify the client — because our commitment to honesty doesn't depend on whether anyone is looking.

Proverbs 12:22

Prudence

Using skill and good judgement in the management of affairs and the use of resources.

Prudence is what separates wisdom from impulse — making thoughtful, measured decisions as stewards of God's resources.

What This Looks Like

Market indicators suggest elevated valuations and increased risk. Rather than chasing short-term gains or reacting out of fear, we methodically reduce equity exposure in a measured, disciplined way — protecting your long-term stewardship goals.

Twelve Beliefs That Anchor Everything We Do

From what we believe about God and His Word to how we believe money should be stewarded — these twelve convictions guide our firm.

Our Foundation

What We Believe About God & His Word

Before we can talk about money, we have to talk about what we believe. These foundational convictions shape every aspect of our firm.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 — "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

Everything we do flows from the authority of Scripture. The Bible is not merely a helpful book of wisdom — it is the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God that guides every aspect of our lives, including how we manage, invest, and steward our finances.

Psalm 119:89 — "Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven."

1 Thessalonians 2:13 — "For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe."

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:16-17 — "After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.'"

We affirm the historic Christian doctrine of the Trinity — one God revealed in three distinct Persons. This foundational belief informs every aspect of our faith and practice as a firm.

Romans 8:1-15 — A passage affirming the distinct roles of the Father, Son, and Spirit in our salvation and daily walk — from condemnation removed through Christ, to life given by the Spirit, to adoption as sons who cry "Abba! Father!"

Isaiah 7:14 — "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel."

We believe a person must repent of sin and, by faith, receive and trust in the person and provision of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to spend eternity in Heaven.

Ephesians 2:8-9 — "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Salvation is a gift of God, received through personal faith in Jesus Christ alone. No amount of financial success, charitable giving, or good works can earn what God freely offers through His Son.

Romans 10:9-10 — "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

Romans 10:13 — "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Matthew 16:26 — "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"

We believe in absolute truth based on God's Word — truth that does not change with public opinion or cultural shifts in our society.

John 14:6 — "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.'"

Our principles don't shift with cultural trends or market pressures. Truth is not relative — it is anchored in the unchanging Word of God. This conviction gives us the foundation to provide consistent, trustworthy counsel regardless of what the world around us says.

John 14:16-17 — "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever; the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him."

Proverbs 12:17-19 — "One who declares truth tells what is right... Truthful lips will endure forever, but a lying tongue is only for a moment."

John 3:21 — "But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God."

John 8:32 — "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

1 Corinthians 13:6 — "It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth."

Ephesians 6:14 — "Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness."

We believe if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything — and as Christians, it is our obligation and duty to stand for truth.

Ephesians 6:13 — "Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm."

Standing for biblical truth requires courage, especially in a financial industry where compromise is common. We believe Christians are called to build their lives — and their financial decisions — on the solid rock of God's Word, not the shifting sands of popular opinion.

Ephesians 6:14-17 — "Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth... taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

1 Corinthians 16:13 — "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."

Matthew 7:24-26 — "Everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock."

What We Believe About Money & Stewardship

These convictions connect what we believe about God to how we manage the resources He has entrusted to us.

We believe God owns everything — including our bank accounts, savings, IRAs, 401(k)s, stocks, bonds, annuities, CDs, and every other financial resource.

Psalm 24:1 — "The earth is the Lord's, and all it contains, the world, and those who live in it."

Our retirement plans, investment portfolios, and savings accounts all belong to God. We are managers, not owners. This perspective changes everything about how we approach financial decisions — from risk management to generosity to legacy planning.

Psalm 50:10 — "For every animal of the forest is Mine, the cattle on a thousand hills."

Haggai 2:8 — "'The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,' declares the Lord of armies."

We believe every Christian should be a good steward of what God has entrusted to them — including their money, talent, and time.

1 Corinthians 4:2 — "In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy."

Stewardship isn't optional — it's a calling. The better we manage what God has entrusted to us, the more He entrusts to our care. This applies to every dollar, every gift, and every hour of our lives.

Luke 16:10-12 — "The one who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and the one who is unrighteous in a very little thing is also unrighteous in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true wealth to you?"

1 Peter 4:10 — "As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God."

Colossians 3:23 — "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people."

Genesis 1:28 — "God blessed them; and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'"

We believe Christians should invest with — not against — the values outlined in the Bible.

Matthew 6:24 — "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth."

How you invest is a reflection of what you value. We believe Christians should align their portfolios with the principles outlined in Scripture — not pursue returns at any moral cost. Your investments should be an extension of your faith, not a contradiction of it.

James 1:22-25 — "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was."

1 Timothy 3:1-3 — "An overseer, then, must be above reproach... temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money."

We believe how you invest as a Christian is just as important as why you invest.

2 Corinthians 6:14 — "Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness?"

The purpose behind your investing matters — but so does the process. When you invest in a company, you financially support what that company supports. We help you invest in alignment with your faith, so your money works for the Kingdom rather than against it.

2 Corinthians 6:15-18 — "Or what harmony does Christ have with Belial, or what does a believer share with an unbeliever?... 'Come out from their midst and be separate,' says the Lord. 'And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.'"

Proverbs 13:11 — "Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, but one who gathers by labor increases it."

2 Corinthians 5:10 — "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad."

We believe financial advisors should be fiduciaries — acting in the best interest of their clients at all times.

Philippians 2:3-4 — "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."

A fiduciary is legally obligated to put your interests first. We believe this isn't just good business practice — it's a biblical mandate for how we should serve one another. Our fee-only model exists because of this conviction.

Philippians 2:5 — "Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus."

1 Timothy 3:1-3 — "An overseer, then, must be above reproach... temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money."

We believe every Christian should tithe and give according to the biblical guidelines outlined in Scripture.

Malachi 3:10 — "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows."

Generosity is a cornerstone of biblical stewardship. We believe tithing and charitable giving are not just financial transactions — they are acts of worship and trust in God's provision. A well-designed financial plan makes generous giving possible and sustainable across a lifetime.

Leviticus 27:30 — "Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's; it is holy to the Lord."

Malachi 3:8-9 — "Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, 'How have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!"

Matthew 6:19-21 — "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

We believe there are seven gates of influence in society — and finance is one of them. Our goal is to change the financial culture of America.

Ephesians 5:11 — "Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them."

The seven gates of influence — Counsel, Judicial & Moral Law, Social Services, Education, Government, Finance, and Arts & Entertainment — shape our culture. We believe Christians have a responsibility to influence the financial gate by promoting Biblically Responsible Investing, Banking, Insurance, and Stewardship Education. We don't just manage money — we are working to transform how Christians think about finance.
